Blues is a home services marketplace based in Nakuru, Kenya. We connect customers with independent home helpers (cleaners, nannies, laundry workers, errand runners). Blues acts as an intermediary — we do not directly employ the helpers listed on our platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information — false details may result in account termination. One account per person.
All bookings are confirmed only after payment is verified. Payment is made via M-Pesa Send Money to Blues. A platform service fee is added to the helper's price and shown transparently before you confirm. Bookings are binding once confirmed — you are committing to receive the service on the agreed date and time.
You may cancel a booking free of charge more than 24 hours before the scheduled service. Cancellations within 24 hours may not be refunded. If a helper fails to show up without notice, contact us immediately on WhatsApp for a resolution. Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 3–7 business days back to your M-Pesa.
Blues vets and background-checks all helpers using their National ID. However, Blues is not liable for any loss, damage, theft or injury caused by a helper during or after a booking. You are advised to secure valuables before a helper arrives. If an incident occurs, report it immediately to Blues and relevant authorities.
If you are booking a babysitter or nanny, you must ensure an adult is reachable at all times during the service. Blues does not accept responsibility for childcare outcomes. You are responsible for briefing the helper on your child's specific needs.
Any disputes should be reported to Blues via WhatsApp (0745223308) within 48 hours of the service date. Blues will attempt to mediate but final decisions on refunds rest with Blues management. Blues is not a party to any legal dispute between you and a helper.
You agree not to harass, abuse or exploit helpers. Misuse of the platform — including false bookings, M-Pesa fraud, or providing fake transaction codes — will result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to authorities.
We collect your name and phone number to operate the service. Your information is not sold to third parties. Your phone number may be shared with a helper solely to coordinate your booking.
Blues may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Current terms are always available on our website.
